"Beautiful Cabin that has been all redone!! Located on a larger lot (2.3 Acres) with Incredible Views. New upgrades including new structural sheer walls before adding T&G was added, new metal roof, new flooring (LTV wood & carpeting), electrical, plumbing, windows (Low E & Insulated), large exterior water tank (1750 gallons), septic tank and drain field, new exterior log paneling (not panel siding), new T&G and log paneling inside, added insulation in exterior walls and ceiling), lights, new decks w/log railings, new fireplace and flues, new electric water heater, new cabinets, granite countertops, toilets, faucets, shower, tub, sinks, heated plumbing wrap in crawl space for winter use, new surround sound and low voltage pre-wiring, high definition antenna for TV, new gravel in half round drive, bistro lights on front porch, security motion sensor lights. When upgrading the cabin - the sellers took NO building permit to do these upgrades- improvements. The reason is because we treated these changes as 'upgrading and improving' the existing cabin and not as 'a remodel'. We did have an county building inspector who happened to be driving by stop and come in (when we were underway) and asked that question 'are we remodeling or improving' and we explained improving/upgrading which is a fine line. Anyways for any technical improvements/upgrades we used only licensed subs to insure it was done correctly. I.e. - Mt Pleasant Power did do the power inspection when they connected the new meter.
